Tet | ט

Tet represents the energy of hearing.

Tet represents the energy of hidden goodness. The goodness found within wisdom manifests itself to achieve balance. It is the energy that conceals the unity and higher goodness within this material reality. It is the energy of spiritual seeking and forms of personal concentration. Tet symbolizes the search for the intuitions we possess within us. Tet represents the awareness that all good (tov) is hidden in all existence, because even what we believe to be bad actually hides a goodness. Everything is good, even what we perceive as bad in matter. That is why the energy of hidden goodness is fundamental to living happily.

Tet represents the energy that tends to develop goodness within free will, because tet (from tov 'good') and resh (from rasha 'bad') are presented together in the text of Sefer Yetzirah. The energy of our goodness is represented by tet. Everything we do with goodness arises from the energy of tet.

Chokmah-Tiferet
The essential condition of a good "I" is inner peace. The light of the Chokmah is very close to the Neshamah level of the soul. The "I" of the Tiferet is very much conditioned by its idea of the "I" that has created the Binah. Then the "I" decides to free itself in order to become what it really is. If the Binah conditions the "I", because it organizes it, the Chokmah activates the energy of an "I" that wishes to find the meaning of its life. When wisdom descends to the Tiferet, it wants the "I" to cross the abyss and to be what it has to be. The "I" must be what it is, not what the conditioning wants it to be. And at that point, a powerful light comes down from the Chokmah and frees the "I" from all conditioning. It does not free the "I" from the good of the Binah, which is the desire for organization. But the Binah not only brings a methodology to the Tiferet, it can also condition its growth towards the light. The energy of the Chokmah says to the "I": "You can do it". The "I" can access levels of energy that it is not consciously aware of. The Chokmah gives us the ability to perceive the potential of the "I" in the higher levels of the soul. The energy of the Chokmah brings to the "I" the pleasure of freeing ourselves and being ourselves.

Tiferet-Chokmah
The energies of the "I" wish to ascend to wisdom to inform the Chokmah that they wish to rise even though they have some fear of ascent. Although the "I" always lived in the safety zone of the Binah, it now trusts the Chokmah.6 The "I" of the Tiferet thanks the Chokmah for releasing its inner light to ascend, but the Chokmah must recognize that the Tiferet has a set time for its growth. The "I" of the Tiferet warns the Chokmah that the rate of growth of the "I" is gradual, that it cannot ascend at the speed of the Chokmah's desire. The Chokmah would take the "I" towards Kether at great speed, but the Tiferet (the "I") desires to ascend gradually, hand in hand with the father-Chokmah. The "I" wishes to free itself from the conditioning of the Binah, but it needs some protection from the Chokmah. The Chokmah knows that, at a certain level, the Tiferet will have to annihilate to the light, but a good Chokmah energy accepts the "I"'s warning that its ascent to the light will be gradual.
